Success!!!

I was finally able to get through my host's new super-high-security FTP protocols (with them finally telling me the missing steps from their previous email instructions over a month ago!) so there will be some long overdue updates to the website this weekend onward. I'll even be updating x1984x seeing as so many of the links on there (for the mp3s especially) have been dead for a long long time now. I have loads of available space here so a lot of that stuff will get transferred over. And the front page news/blog will be moving over to tumblr so I can even update that from my iPhone! Freakin' sweet...

Update

Both the Finnish and Japanese copies of Phoenix Spectacles arrived safely overseas! Pirkka had some customs trouble with his though which sucks. But, much to my amazement, Kazu just told me he sold out of all his copies in some two days and wants another 30 from me! Sending those to Waterslide either today or tomorrow. Anyone wanting a copy of this better be quick!

Her Spectacles/The Phoenix Foundation 7"!

It's technically been available since April 3rd (too much time at an insanity causing job and fixing a broken computer!) but I'm please to announce the latest and first vinyl release from Unsane Asylum!!! A beautifully produced (both art and sound) split 7" between Her Spectacles (jp) and The Phoenix Foundation (fi) on clear orange vinyl. Limited to 500 hand numbered copies as a co-release with Poolside Records (fi) and Waterslide Records (jp). Their copies will be heading overseas by the end of the week! And kudos to Jani for the amazing artwork. If you're in a country that still supports it for free you can stream all the songs at last.fm here. And until I can get through my new host's super-tight FTP security you'll need to go here to place online orders. I'll be updating the shipping costs for international as soon as I know what it will run. Anyone that doesn't already have a copy of the Life Giving Waters CD should take advantage of the sale too! There's a little bit of springtime in the back of my mind and a load of pollen up my nose...

Phoenix Spectacles out soon!

Phoenix Spectacles was sent to press last Friday!!! In the middle of a blizzard I might add... I'll write a blog with some snowy pictures about that probably tomorrow? And I reckon everything should be ready within six weeks! Once the test pressing is approved I'll put the 7" up for pre-order with a special on the LGW cd if both are purchased at the same time. And as soon as last.fm lets me upload the tracks they'll be available for full streams on my Unsane Asylum label page! More news as it becomes available...
